-Start applications with the water, gas, sewer and electric companies as soon as possible. Utilities could be your biggest delay in moving into your new home.-
-You will need steps with hand rails at all doors. Temporary steps will not pass inspection.
-Skirting is required for final inspection.
-City, County and State Permitting Agencies will not allow you move into your home until everything has finaled. Utility companies cannot turn on the gas or electric until the home is finaled.
-Extra equipment may be required to install the home due to the property getting wet, open trenches, too steep, turns too sharp for truck delivery, crane to lift the home. We can determine most of these issues on our initial site inspection.
-Extra charges may incur if repeat failed inspections due to the homeowner or homeowner's contractor's work not passing inspections or permits taken from the project site.
-See the Utilities section for helpful hints on utilities.
-The homeowner is responsible for (if needed) trimming trees, removing fences, mail boxes, cars or equipment in the way of delivery.
-Fill in trenches as needed.
-The home pad is required to be within 6" of level in any direction.
